Letter 1/07/13

Dear Family,
This week will, once again, be short.  I have really got to start these letters earlier in the day.  But Basketball is to much fun!  (Not saying that I am putting Basketball before you guys, but I just realized how selfish that statement was!)  The Holidays have officially come to a close; decorations are put away and the car dealerships' deals have ended.  We have been tracting a lot and are beginning to see a lot of success.  Our numbers have fallen, and investigators have dropped us, but we are finding more potentials daily.

The other night we only had a couple of minutes between an appointment and helping a less-active, so we decided to put on our battle gear...and knock on some doors.  We normally don't find people who won't slam their doors in our faces, but that night every door was very open!  We were able to get a referral for the Spanish Elders and found another solid potential investigator!

Then last night, we were able to put our most solid investigator on date for the 19th of this month.  Previously she had been baptized in another church, but we were able to let her feel the Spirit prompting her that this is what she needs to do!  they have been working with her since August, and she finally committed.  Please pray for her!

I love you all!!!

Love,
Elder Rex Hamblin
