Dear Mother,

We had some pretty amazing miracles this past week. As I have told you, about a month ago we were able to baptize a lady. During the week of her baptism we found out that her son was 9 years old and wanted desperately to be baptized. Well we taught him then and there and continued to teach him throughout the month. We had originally set the baptism date for April 27, but as last week progresses we decided to move his baptism to the first week in May. His mother said that was when his uncle would be in town and he would be the one to baptize him.

Friday morning rolled around and Elder Wilmott and I were holding our companionship study as normal. With about 10 minutes left we recieved a call on the phone. It was the mother. She said that the uncle was going to be in town this weekend and wanted to know if we could have the baptism on Saturady! This was Friday morning! We told her of course and started planning for the baptism right then and there. It is amazing how much the Lord has blessed us over the past few weeks.

The other part of the miracle is this--I have told you previously about our mission goals to baptize so many people every month. This is just one of the ways that the Lord is showing us the blessings of our work and the prayers of all those involved...this includes all of you! Thank you so much for the help and the prayers on the behalf of all the missionaries in the world.

SHIPPA looks so beautiful. No, that's not the word that I want to use...let me see...angelic, there we go. That one seems to fit a little better.

Well I love each of you and hope you have a good week!

Love,
Elder Hamblin
